When ordering your new Nelo you have several options to consider:

1 - model
Most paddlers order the current sprint model but some prefer past models like the Scorpion. 
Nelo will produce whichever model you want.  The Vanquish III series is available for K1s, C1, and C2s now. 
K4s and K2s will be available in January.

2 - construction
Nelo produces their sprint boats in 3 different constructions:

F - carbon with foam core
G - extra carbon with foam core
SCS - extra carbon with honeycomb core

There are different constructions for marathon and/or training boats; contact us for further information
or check the Nelo website.

3 - size (applicable to kayaks only)

M -   up to 75 kg (165 lb)
ML - 70-80 kg (155-175 lb)
L -   75-85 kg (165-185 lb)
XXL - over 85 kg (185 lb)

Please note that these are guidelines only; paddlers should try out different sizes before making a final decision.

4 - colour and/or design
Check the Nelo website for standard colour options.  Nelo will produce your boat in any colour and/or design you want (click here or check the Nelo photo gallery for ideas).  If you want a special colour or design it's best to submit it electronically so the factory can copy it exactly.  Occasionally the factory cannot produce the design or colour exactly as you want so for this reason we do not guarantee a 100% match.  There may be a small surcharge for a custom
colour or design; this charge is included with SCS models.

5 - options for fittings (applicable to kayaks only)
Seat - high back (Nelo) or regular (USA)
Footrest - full or regular

6 - extras
Some extras you might want to consider are a boat cover (included in the price of an SCS model), footstrap or pullbar (for kayaks).

Payment:  a 70% deposit must accompany each boat order; the balance is due upon arrival of the boat.  The deposit can be made via on-line bank transfer, wire transfer or cheque.  Contact us for prices and details.

Delivery: the first container will arrive in Lake Placid in December 2008.  Please check the website for updates.  Paddlers are encouraged to pick up their boats as soon as possible due to storage limitations. 

Corey Firth from Orenda CC will be dropping by to pick up boats on his way to Florida in February; if you would like him to transport your boat to Florida please contact him directly at firthy@eastlink.ca or 902.223.9993.

We can assist in making other shipping arrangements to Florida or elsewhere in North America if that is more convenient.  Payment for shipping to another destination must be received before the boat can be released.
